Why Photography?

Photographers use their cameras as tools of exploration, passports to inner sanctums, instruments for change.
— Robert Draper, National Geographic

Photography is a language we use to see into each other's lives, one frame at a time. Each carefully crafted still frame has a unique story to tell.  A photographic story can alter perceptions, make people happy, sad, afraid, angry, surprised, disgusted and, at its best, change lives.
